Butter Garlic Prawns

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg Prawns (cleaned and de-vein)
  • 20-30 grated garlic cloves/ 2-3 garlic bulbs
  • Minced/ Finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3-4 1mm cubes Butter (Amul - salted/other)
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour mixed with water
  • 1 Lemon Juice
  • Sugar 1tsp
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil of your choice
Cooking time: 10-15 mins


Steps:

  1. Thoroughly clean the prawns with water 2-3 times
  2. Marinate prawns with Salt, Pepper and Lemon juice for 15-30 mins (optional)
  3. Heat a pan on medium flame, add 2 tbsp cooking oil and 2 cubes of butter
  4. Cook for 2 mins then add the crushed garlic
  5. Saute for 2 mins
  6. Add the prawns and mix it well with garlic
  7. Add salt, pepper and lemon juice
  8. After 2 mins add the corn flour
  9. Add 1tsp sugar and coriander leaves
  10. Mix all the ingredients
  11. Have a quick taste to check the salt
  12. Add 2 blocks of butter and if the prawns are cooked and turn off the flame.
  13. Let the butter melt in the heat
  14. Mix well and serve hot
