Butter Garlic Prawns
Ingredients:
Steps:
- 1 kg Prawns (cleaned and de-vein)
- 20-30 grated garlic cloves/ 2-3 garlic bulbs
- Minced/ Finely chopped Coriander leaves
- Salt
- Pepper
- 3-4 1mm cubes Butter (Amul - salted/other)
- 1 tbsp Corn Flour mixed with water
- 1 Lemon Juice
- Sugar 1tsp
- 2 tbsp Cooking Oil of your choice
Cooking time: 10-15 mins
Steps:
- Thoroughly clean the prawns with water 2-3 times
- Marinate prawns with Salt, Pepper and Lemon juice for 15-30 mins (optional)
- Heat a pan on medium flame, add 2 tbsp cooking oil and 2 cubes of butter
- Cook for 2 mins then add the crushed garlic
- Saute for 2 mins
- Add the prawns and mix it well with garlic
- Add salt, pepper and lemon juice
- After 2 mins add the corn flour
- Add 1tsp sugar and coriander leaves
- Mix all the ingredients
- Have a quick taste to check the salt
- Add 2 blocks of butter and if the prawns are cooked and turn off the flame.
- Let the butter melt in the heat
- Mix well and serve hot
